What happens after you scheduled your pickup?
- You will get an automated response email to let you know that your pickup request was successful.
- The online system will notify us about your pickup request and will be processed in the order it was received.
- We will try our best to pick up your items to be recycled as soon as possible. As we serve the greater Portland area we group pickups together. Though we cannot guarantee the actual pickup will happen, typically it will be within 3 days.
- To keep our pick up service as affordable as possible we refrain from sending a driver on a 40 mile trip to pick up a $25 printer. To be profitable we must apply good business practice.
- If you paid by credit card your credit card will not be charged until all items are picked up. Your statement will show a charge from Simply Marvelous Recycling.
- We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. We want your recycling experience to be as easy, affordable and painless as possible. If we can suceed we believe that we will have life long customers.
Pricing
As we do not charge for everything we receive your company may save hundreds of dollars in disposal costs alone.
There is a charge of $7.50 for all Monitors CRT's as it's costly to extract the toxic components and we have to pay a company to do it effectively. TV's are accepted at the cost of $35.00 each.
Government agencies and financial institutions, banks or lending companies, are required to remove information to Department of Defense standards. Simply Marvelous offers "Certified data removal service" for $17.00 per hard drive at our facility.We can provide this service at your facility or house for $25.00 per hard drive.
Simply reformatting your hard drives does not render the data irretrievable. All digital media is physically destroyed or electronically written over using professional sanitizing software, rendering recovery of your sensitive data impossible.
Our data removal/destruction meets United States Department of Defense compliance standards and will ensure that your sensitive data remains confidential. Once completed a certificate will be issued.
We also offer data transfer from your old computer to your new computer for a fee of $65.00 per hour

Be assured that your shopping experience is completely safe. The order site is secured using a Thawte SSL Web Server Certificate which encrypts all data to and from the site. However, if you prefer to pay with check or money order, just choose the off-line option when you check out.
